Delivery
Postage & packaging is FREE for all UK and International deliveries.
Domestic (UK): We use Royal Mail Special Delivery signed for or First Class signed for – please be aware that deliveries require a signature.
International: We use Royal Mail Track & Signed, or International Tracked if your country doesn’t allow signed for.
If you prefer a courier or a different postal option we can arrange this at the customer’s expense, just email us to discuss options.
Each piece of Lee Renée jewellery is especially handmade to order. We turn around most orders within 48-72 hours, but please allow a possible 5-10 working days from placing your order to receipt of your jewellery if you’re based in UK, slightly longer if abroad.
If you need a piece urgently or for a specific date, please mention this in the additional notes section upon ordering and we will do our best to accommodate you.
UK orders normally arrive the day after sending, and International orders usually arrive 3-7 days after sending.
Due to Covid regulations and changes within the EU following Brexit, Royal Mail are experiencing some delays, so please allow extra time for your jewellery to arrive.
Once you place an order with us, we will send you an email to let you know we’ve received it, and the day we send it out we will email you again with your tracking details so you can trace its journey and look out for it in the post.
Please make sure you provide us with your correct email address upon ordering so that you receive these updates.
We love surprises! Our jewellery is sent in a Lee Renée branded presentation box, and packaged in a plain white padded envelope outer. Due to insurance restrictions we have to include “Lee Renée” as the return address on the back.
Looking for a workaround? Consider sending it to your workplace or a friend’s house. As long as an adult is present to sign for your package, we can ship it to any permanent address.
Royal Mail (or your country’s home postal service if not in UK) will leave a note saying they tried to deliver, and details for you to arrange re-delivery or collection.
For non UK orders, depending on the value of your order your goods could be liable for customs and/or import duties (including GST). These are charged once the package reaches its destination country. Any customs charges and import duties for a package must be paid for by the person receiving the parcel.
As customs policies and import duties vary from country to country, and are constantly changing, unfortunately we cannot tell you what the cost may be. We recommend contacting the local customs office to determine what the current charges are.

Product Information
Lee Renée jewellery is handmade with care and just like you, it needs to be looked after, especially our gemstone and plated pieces. When not being worn, we recommend that you store your jewellery in the box that it came in. This will minimise the effects of sunlight and the environment. To keep your jewellery sparkling, you can polish it gently with a soft jewellery cloth.
Read our top tips on keeping your jewels looking beautiful for years to come on our Jewellery Care Guide page.
We plate our sterling silver with 3 microns of 18 carat gold to make sure it lasts for a long time if properly cared for. Rings tend to wear off quicker than necklaces and earrings due to the fact they are exposed more frequently to wear and tear and chemicals. To protect the plating please remove your jewellery before contact with hand gels, water, moisturiser, perfumes, sun creams, cleaning products and make-up as these will affect the plating.
If your jewellery needs re-plating in the future we are happy to do this for a small charge, please contact us to arrange.
All of our jewellery is designed and hand made entirely in Hatton Garden, London to the highest of standards and is rigorously quality checked by our small team before it leaves our workshop.
We are fully committed to running a sustainable business.
We use recycled materials, produce our jewellery in small batches to minimise waste, and work with partners who do the same.
We also try to keep our business needs local. So, as well as designing, making and rigorously quality checking every single piece of jewellery by hand in our studio in London’s Hatton Garden, we also work with some of Hatton Garden’s finest goldsmiths, diamond setters and engravers. This not only helps reduce our carbon footprint, but also means that when you buy a piece of Lee Renée jewellery, you are helping to support local, independent craftspeople and small businesses beyond our workshop.
We believe jewellery is precious and we wanted to make ours from quality materials that will last the test of time, whilst also being kinder to the planet and its resources. Our pieces are made from recycled 925 sterling silver and plated in 18ct gold, or made from solid 9ct recycled gold.
On request we can also make all our pieces in 14ct gold, 18ct gold or platinum, please get in touch for prices.
Yes, we can engrave most of our pieces. Engraving up to 9 characters is an extra £35 – if you want this service please say at purchase in ‘additional notes’ section what you want engraving and we’ll send you an invoice for engraving after ordering – please allow a few extra days for engraving.
Bespoke
Due to the amount of work and time involved in creating a one-off, unique piece of jewellery bespoke commissions start at £1,500 and are made in solid 9ct gold. The price increases if you want gemstones/diamonds or if you want 18ct gold or platinum. However, if you just want one of our existing designs tweaked, with different gemstones/diamonds or in a higher carat gold than available on our website, it could be much less so please contact us for exact pricing.
Normally 6-8 weeks from initial consultation, but please allow more time between October-December as Christmas is our busiest season.
In most circumstances we can reuse your gems to give them a new lease of life, but unfortunately we can’t reuse your gold due to our casting process and the impurities/mixed metals that can be found in existing gold jewellery. As part of the service, once you commission us to make a new piece we will remove your gems and return your gold jewellery to you for you to sell on – and we can recommend some local buyers too.
We advise choosing the same metal for your engagement and wedding ring, so they don’t cause wear or scratches when they rub together. For durability and strength we advise 9ct gold as a minimum.

For returns coming from outside UK, please take care if a customs declaration form is required, to correctly mark the goods as a 'Returned Item'. This will ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred. In the instance that an item is incorrectly marked and a customs fee is incurred, this will be passed onto the customer. This may also delay the returns process.
If you are uncertain about how to correctly fill in the customs form, then please speak with the relevant customs or post department before returning the item.
