Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Lee Renée's terms and conditions of use. If you continue to browse and use www.leerenee.co.uk or www.leerenee.com, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Lee Renée's relationship with you in relation to this website.

Payment & Ordering Online
To help ensure your shopping experience on this website is safe, simple and secure, all transactions are processed using Stripe (for credit card payments), Paypal, or for spreading the payments over 3 monthly interest-free instalments we use Klarna (more information on Klarna below).  All options deliver some of the most secure payment platforms in the world.  Alternatively, if you want to pay by bank transfer, please contact us at support@leerenee.com and we will provide you with our details.

Ordering online with us is safe and secure. At Lee Renée we do not hold any of your credit card details and we take all reasonable care to make our website 100% secure.

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to payment problems and product availability.

Klarna:

We’re excited to announce we have partnered with Klarna to bring you a new way to pay at checkout.

Here’s How Klarna Works:

Step 1 Add products to your cart and select “Klarna” when you check out

Step 2 Enter a few personal details and you’ll know instantly if you’re approved

Step 3 Klarna will send you an email confirmation and reminders when it’s time to pay and you can manage your orders and payments in the Klarna app.

Lee Renée Ltd is not a lender and acts only as an introducer. The credit product is provided by Klarna Bank AB (publ). Credit is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18 and over, depending on their status. Terms and conditions apply. Please note that Pay in 3 instalments are not regulated by the FCA.

Pay In 3 Interest-Free Instalments:

Spread the cost of your purchase into 3 interest-free instalments. The first payment is made at point of purchase, with remaining instalments scheduled automatically every 30 days. No interest or fees when you pay on time. Select the Klarna option and enter your debit or credit card information.

To check your eligibility, Klarna will perform a soft search with a credit reference agency. This will not affect your credit score.

Klarna's 'Pay in 3' is an unregulated credit agreement. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. Ts&Cs and late fees apply.

- A new way to pay that's an alternative to a credit card.

- 3 instalments gives you flexibility to shop without interest or hidden fees when you pay on time.

- Not making your payment on time could affect your ability to use Klarna in the future.

- Debt collection agencies are used as a last resort.

- You must be 18+ and a UK resident to be eligible for this credit offer.

Pricing & Availability
Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication and whilst we try and ensure that all descriptions, details and prices which appear on leerenee.co.uk and www.leerenee.com are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. Otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before processing. All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling (£GBP).

As each piece is handmade for you once we receive your order, if there is a delay due to gem or material availability we will let you know the expected timings by email and reconfirm your order.

Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your Lee Renée purchases as we pride ourselves on excellent quality and service. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we are happy to offer a 14 day refund and exchange policy, minus our original shipping costs.  All solid gold rings are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Please note: all items to be returned must be carefully re-packaged in their original packing and be in an unworn condition. We will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show signs of abuse. In this instance the goods will be returned to the buyer at their own cost.

Exemptions from our refund policy include: Sale items, especially commissioned bespoke jewellery, earrings (due to hygiene reasons), and any jewellery which was customised to your request (chain length, sizing, different gemstones etc).

When ordering rings, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. A ring ordered in the incorrect size can be (but not always) re-sized, but this will be subject to a charge. To establish or check your ring size, then please print out our ring size guide if you have an existing ring, or purchase our ring size gauge if you do not.

The return is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit (Royal Mail Special Delivery can be used).

If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Your original postage costs will not be refunded unless the item was sent in error or is faulty (providing we are notified of faults within 7 days of receipt), so we will refund you your total minus £7 for UK orders and minus £13 for outside of UK.   Nor will we refund any duties payable on orders outside of the UK.

For returns coming from outside UK, please take care if a customs declaration form is required, to correctly mark the goods as a 'Returned Item'. This will ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred. In the instance that an item is incorrectly marked and a customs fee is incurred, this will be passed onto the customer. This may also delay the returns process.

If you are uncertain about how to correctly fill in the customs form, then please speak with the relevant customs or post department before returning the item.

To arrange a return please email support@leerenee.com quoting your name, address, details of the product, the reason for the return and whether you require a refund or replacement.

In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method that you paid within 28 days of receipt of return.

Purchases made privately at events are not refundable except in the case of a manufacturing fault.

Packaging
All jewellery is packaged securely in a Lee Renée branded box.

Please be assured the satisfaction of our customers is of paramount importance to us and we try to ensure every piece sent out reaches you in perfect condition.

Jewellery
As each piece of jewellery is handmade to order, there might be slight differences in each piece so the image you opt to buy on the website might vary slightly from the piece you purchase. We try to stay as close to the originals as possible, and believe any variations only add to the piece's uniqueness and hand-crafted appeal.

You must be aware that all sizes and measurements are only approximate and the colours shown on the website will depend on your computer display settings etc.

Gold Vermeil
Vermeil is a French word, now commonly used in the English language. It became a popular term in the 19th century as an alternative to the term silver-gilt. Vermeil is a combination of Sterling Silver with a layer of gold on top. To be considered vermeil, the gold must be at least 10 carat and be at least 1.5 microns thick. Any other metal plated onto sterling silver cannot be called vermeil. We plate our sterling silver with 18 carat gold and 3 microns thick to make sure it lasts for a long time if properly cared for. Please visit our jewellery care guide for more information on how to prolong the life of plating.

Oxidised silver
Oxidised silver is sterling silver that has been through an oxidisation process so that it turns black in the recesses of the piece. It is not a permanent colouring and does wear off over time, especially when it gets wet. We do offer a re-oxidisation service for £7 plus delivery for any number of pieces.

Ring Sizes
Most of our rings come in standard UK sizes, but we can make rings in half sizes too, please say in additional notes on ordering and we will make it for you.  To establish or check your ring size, then please print out our ring size guide if you have an existing ring, or purchase our ring size gauge if you do not.  Rings can mostly be resized but will incur a small charge.

Late & Lost Deliveries
You are responsible for ensuring that your personal details you provide at payment including delivery address are correct and the most recent.

If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to chase it up with the Royal Mail.

We cannot refund or replace lost items until 30 working days after the date of dispatch - this is when the Royal Mail classes items as being lost.

International delivery - When items are sent to another country, your parcel is often handled by more than one postal service. Unfortunately that means delivery problems can occur. When we send a parcel abroad, the actual delivery of the item will be the responsibility of the postal service in the country the items are going to. Delays can often be caused by customs checks, which can sometimes take up to 1-2 weeks.

Items not received but tracked as being delivered - This often happens when items are delivered to places of work. In some cases, your item might have been delivered to a colleague or post room within your company and someone else will have signed for it. In these cases for a small charge, you can request a proof of delivery certificate from Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com) by filling in a signature request form. Please note that we do not refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. For this reason, we always recommend that you get items delivered to your home address.

Lee Renée cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.

If your order is returned to us because the courier or postal service could not complete the delivery to you for whatever reason, then you will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.
